Some 150 years after the events illustrated in the book, Mina, a young and courageous sailor, who was participating in the Jules Verne competition, ends up on a mysterious island after her boat sinks.
She first needs to recover, find food and then explore this desertic island to escape and go back home. The adventure stops when Mina discovers the island's mystery, meets Captain Nemo's ghost and neutralizes the magnetic field that protects the island from the external world. The second episode starts when Mina and Jep get on the helicopter that came to save them. As soon as they're on board, something hits them, and the helicopter ends into the lake.

Based on ecology and survival, this game will show you the island's secrets are not solved yet.

The strange and eerie funeral from the opening scene is that of Anna Voralberg, the last remaining member of the Voralberg family, once famed for their Voralberg Toy Company of mechanical wind-up toys. As Kate Walker, a New York lawyer representing the modern Universal Toy Company, you came to Valadilene to complete the buy out of the antiquated Voralberg company. However just upon your arrival you discovered that the funeral you just witnessed is for the very woman who was suppose to close the deal of the company buy-out.

With Anna deceased you investigate into the Voralberg family and discover a man by the name of Hans Voralberg, the sole remaining heir. You set out to track this man and soon find yourself immersed in a tale of mystery and intrigue. As it is with any successful adventure game, the atmosphere of the world is of utmost importance in bringing out the story and making the world come to life. Syberia excels wonderfully in this respect, with beautiful graphics illustrating every corner of its fascinating world. And fascinating it is indeed. Where else will you find yourself talking to a clock-work automaton, ride in a life-size wind-up train or have the narrative of the story told to you by a pair of walking and talking mechanical figurines? The narrative of this game is set up mastefully, each location in the game reflects the current mood of the story, from the beauty of Valadilene to the dark corners of an abandoned Soviet factory.

The puzzles throughout the game are not exceedingly difficult but they present a good challenge. You will be so engrossed in the game that before you know it, you will be watching the last ending sequence and wishing for more.

In Fall 2008, Victoria is sent to Maine where Audrey Dunnigan's body has just been found. The modus operandi and the video sent to the police and press leave no doubt as to the killer's identity: the East Coast Torturer has struck again! No clues are picked up during the autopsy, as the serial killer painstakingly washed the body. Once again, the killer has not committed any errors.

From her motel room, Victoria comes across a report by Paloma Hernandez, the journalist covering all the crimes bearing the East Coast Torturer's signature. Following on from the dark and bloody Post Mortem, Still Life pulls player back into dark environments and gory murders halfway between Seven and Jack the Ripper, as you try and hunt down a murderer in both the 1920's Prague and in modern day Chicago.
Everything will pull you further into the game, from the depth of the characters you'll interact with through the game to it's oppressive musical score. Even the levels and the textures have the perfect murder investigation feel, though they keep a different feel between the high-tech Chicago sections and the Prague traditional private eye style. It can definitely be said that there aren't many point and clicks out there with an atmosphere like it.

Like Syberia, Still Life has a perfect balance between searching for clues and solving puzzles, and though difficult enough to fool you at times, it stays easy enough to solve, or not, as you'll no doubt find out.

Nostradamus - The Last Prophecy is set in 16th century Provence, in a country ravaged by religious wars and devastated by the plague.
It has been three years since Catherine de Médicis' rule as regent came to an end, but she still holds the reins of power, making her the target of repeated attacks from the French nobility. Alternating between Madeleine the young woman and Madeleine disguised as César, players are plunged into a thriller where political scheming and ancestral prophecies are intertwined. The game begins as an initiatory adventure in the footsteps of her father, the prophet and astrologer, before creating all the suspense of a detective novel: from one murder to another, players make their way through a test-riddled forensic investigation.

Following in the same vein as The Secrets of Da Vinci - The Forbidden Manuscript©, Nostradamus - The Last Prophecy is an historical adventure game in which players have to solve a series of riddles and puzzles inspired by the works of Nostradamus, taking them through the worlds of astrology, medicine and medicinal plants.

Though the game does not offer two fundamentally different paths, "transforming" the main character gives players a unique alternative by allowing them to assume another identity, change sex (their appearance in any case) and use it to their advantage when interacting with other characters.
